Mike adopted Soju the jindo back in April. The poor girl had heartworms and died of a heart attack after 6 months of treatment...

Mike finally felt ready to honour Soju's memory by helping another dog in need. He came to the shelter about 3 weeks ago and adopted the beloved Alpha who was one of the volunteers' favorite.

She is a shy one, and we were worried that she would have trouble adapting, but not at all! I saw them this week and yes, Alpha is scared of other people, but the good part is that she ran right up to Mike for comfort.

Alpha spends every night with Mike on his bed and also after every walk now that there is snow. She is a real princess!
